The first trial. Most of it made before I decided to go with Dougie, instead of Johnny. HOWEVER I still can't find a great head shot for Doug except my lousy Hellboy behind the scenes screen caps. Still I am very happy with the rest of my cast visually and talent wise. Put here cause I plan on doing it better/over/with Doug.
Top:
Erik-Johnny Depp in lew of my first choices
Christine-The oh-so-sexy and amazing Amy Acker
Bottom row left to right:
Claudia Black as The Khanum
Rachel Weisz as Madeline
Oded Fehr as Nadir
and Ferderico Luppi as Giovanni

::gasps:: it *is* Johnny! Wow, I didn't see it the first time, and yet there he is...I think it was because his eyes are a light color here instead of their usual darkness

Double kudos points and an extra scoop of icecream for using Johnny as Erik
But with that aside, this is wonderful! I just finished Phantom recently, and was totally in love with it. This is a great poster interpretation. I saw something about "First Trial..." Will there be another on the way?
Hopefully. The reason I haven't done it yet as I am still not sure who I want as Erik. The rest of the cast is set in stone, but I am still not sure about Johnny being...expressive or elegant enough. I LOVE him to pieces, but I really invision Doug Jones in the part, but it's pretty damn hard to find pictures of him posing for the project. I might just say bugger the idea and redo it keeping Johnny anyway.

This is nice! I like your choices ... yeah, Amy Acker definitely has the looks and could definitely project both the innocence and the torment of Christine ... and Rachel Weisz is an awesome Madeleine ... Oded Fehr is great as Nadir (though that guy on 'Lost' ... name escapes me but plays the character Sayid ... would also be good).
Doug Jones ... he played Abe Sapien (the body, anyway) ... if I remember correctly ...
I have only seen Lost once, but yeah, that guy would be great. And yep Dougie Jones was Abe Sapien. He's perfect physically, but I don't know if he could pull off the voice/angst.
