this is my favourite. It makes me think of religious iconography for some reason. really nice! and the colours are spectacular.

It's my favorite too. I like the other two very much, but this is one of the few pieces that turned out exactly like I had in mind, well almost. As for the iconography you mention, I think maybe that's what both me and Eiko had in mind. Although, with Eiko who can really tell?

I am glad that's how it came across, I worked very hard on this one to get things just so. I was telling rehgeist that I like it so much because it actually turned out as close to as I wanted it to be as anything in a really long time.

hot dang, i wish i could do color and detail like that, it has a background and everything. I too like the seahorses, they must be searching for intestines, how cute.

The Art Nouveau organic swirls on the robe are very nice - and I love the contrast of the bloody scissors against the earthy tones.
